Well, today's the day! Thursday June 11th, the first day of Bike and Build orientation! My bags are packed, my bike is ready to be loaded into our car, and I'm finishing up last minute details. I can't wait for the adventure to begin!
Now its just a countdown until Sunday, our first official day of biking...
Fellow Providence to Seattle rider, Isabel, had the unfortunate luck of hitting a nasty rock on the shoulder of Rt. 28 in New Hampshire on a training ride last week. At least 3 car salesmen offered their assistance as we patched her tire and changed her tube. They were probably lured over by the best bike jersey-arm warmer combo ever seen by man.
